Demostatics

An investment company built on a centralized, continuously updated information platform that turns fragmented global data into decision-ready statistical intelligence.

This site is the single place where Demostatics is written down. It answers six questions, in order, and everything else here hangs off one of them.

QuestionPageWhat it answers
WhatWhat Demostatics IsThe product, the data it covers, what a customer buys
WhyWhy It ExistsThe problem, the thesis, the principles
WhoWho It Is ForCustomers, founders, roles, the community model
WhereWhere Everything LivesFive repositories and what each one owns
WhenWhere Things StandWhat is built today, what comes next
HowHow It WorksTiers, pipeline, contracts, the journey of one value

Read Business Model alongside them. Demostatics operates four lines of business — data and intelligence, investment advisory, discretionary management and proprietary trading — and only the first has any code behind it. That page says what each one is and what it needs.

Demostatics is early. Most of it is designed rather than built, and these docs are written so you can always tell the difference. Every capability described anywhere on this site carries one of four labels:

LabelMeaning
ShippedCode exists and runs today
PartialSome of it works, with named gaps
PlannedDocumented and decided, no code
Not builtReferenced by other documents, but nothing exists

The largest single engineering gap is the worker tier — the data-gathering and processing backend that every other document treats as the source of the platform’s data. It exists in no repository. See Worker Tier.

The largest single business gap is licensing. Advisory, discretionary management and proprietary trading are regulated activities, nothing has been started, and the lead time is measured in months to years rather than weeks. No amount of engineering shortens it, and it sits on the critical path. See Regulatory Posture — which is a list of questions for counsel, not legal advice.
